Ellis has authored and co-authored papers in the American Journal of Public Health, American Journal of Academic Medicine, the Journal of Philosophy and Ethics and the Journal of Healthcare, Science and the Humanities.
He is also the author of Which Doctor? (2006) and Information in the Best Medicine (2012). In addition to a weekly, nationally syndicated health column, he also hosts a weekly public health program on Philadelphia’s WURD Radio. He is a frequent commentator on WDAS-FM in Philadelphia, KSYB – AM Shreveport, LA, and KJLH-FM in Los Angeles.
Ellis has presented at scientific, academic and health conferences across the United States, as well as Belgium, Cuba, Germany, Italy, Kenya, the Netherlands, South Africa, Ukraine and more.
